Custom and Bespoke Yarns
At Michell Labs, we promote the development of unique yarns alongside our clients. We offer fancy structures like Bouclés, Flame, Soffiato, Onde, Roving , among others, and specialised dyeing techniques to create innovative and exclusive compositions. From concept to final product, we collaborate on every step to transform ideas into signature yarns.
Fibre Selection
For Custom and Bespoke Yarns
At Michell & Cía, we prioritise raw material selection and fibre blending to create our yarns. We work with a variety of fibres to develop proprietary and customised blends—typically intimate blends, except in the case of cotton and Lurex, which are incorporated as a yarn or filament. Our main objective is to achieve yarns with the highest possible natural fibre content.

At Michell, colour is essential in every yarn development. We offer options like undyed yarns, solid colours, and our exclusive Alpaca Colour Dictionary—adaptable to aesthetic, technical, and sustainability goals. From defined tones to unique effects, each colour offering is a creative tool for design.
